Evening prayer of our supplication, receive, O Holy Lord, and grant unto us forgiveness of sins, for Thou alone art the Resurrection in the world.
Blest ye every one them that suffer persecution for us, and comfort him, and give glory in him who was raised from the dead: For he is our God, deliver us from our iniquities.
Come ye people, let us take and worship Jesus Christ, praising Him and His resurrection from the dead: For He is our God, deliverer from the deceit of this world.

Brothers, today this double feast rejoices the creation, and the human race shall rejoice: for the holy Theotokos hath summoned us, the unspeakable treasure of the twofold nature; the wordless second advent of Adam in paradise: the depository of the union of two natures: the triumph of the saving reconciliation: the tabernacle wherein the unutterable Word became flesh verily: a light cloud, which overshadoweth the cherubim, bearing in His body. By your prayers, O God, preserve the salvation of our souls.
By Thy holy Incarnation, O Lord, we have been made free from passions by Thy Resurrection and from withered desolation; therefore, glory be to Thee.

And now the stichera of the Presanctified Liturgy. It is fitting:
O Theotokos, worthy are we to stand before Thy throne, for Thou art holy, and Thou art full of grace, and joy is with Thee, and Thou dost sit upon the right hand of God.
Prepared was she in the race of races, two-fold mother of offspring, Theotokos most pure, intercessor for peace, bearing bodily the unoriginated Saviour in flesh, and co-equal with the Spirit truly: wherefore we pray thee to save us.
Holding fast to unceasing sorrows, we pray with unwavering intercession through both Thee: let us give thanks: save us all O Evangelist: for Thou art the refuge of peace and the protection of our race.
Renew the world in thy travail, O Virgin Mother, veritable savior, and ever-vigilant intercessor of the pious, do not cease to pray nigh unto all who sing thee.

Cloud of the Lord's glory ever-present in heaven, let us name thee: from thee indeed didst Thou send down the word as rain upon the earth, and having risen up from thee, Thou hast enlightened the world, O Jesus Christ, stripping Thyself of spiritual delusion. Praying with close entreaty to the throne, we beseech Thee, do not cease us, those who confess Thee truly.
