Evening prayer of our supplication, receive, O Holy Lord, and grant unto us forgiveness of sins, for Thou alone art the Resurrection in the world.
Blest ye the people of His Son, and forgive him, and give glory in Him who rose from the dead: For He is our God, and deliver us from our lawlessnesses.
Come ye people, let us take and worship Jesus Christ, praising Him and His resurrection from the dead: For He is our God, deliverer from the deceit of this world.

Brothers, today this double feast rejoices the creation, and the human race shall rejoice: for the holy Theotokos hath summoned us, the unspeakable treasure of the twofold nature; the verbal second coming of Adam into paradise: the depository of the union of two natures: the triumph of the savior's reconciliation: the enclosure wherein the unutterable Word became flesh in truth: a light cloud, which overshadows the cherubim and bears the body that once wore it. Through your prayers, O God, may Thy mercy save our souls.
By Thy holy Incarnation, we have been set free from passions, and by Thy Resurrection, from the corruption of death; O Lord, glory be to Thee.
And now the stichera of the Presanctified Liturgy. It is fitting:
O heavenly powers:
Prepared was she in the race of races, two-fold mother of infants, Theotokos Mine, intercessor of peace, bearing bodily without beginning the Son of God, and co-equal with the Spirit truly: His preservation pray Thou for us.
With unceasing sorrow we read the Scriptures, and with one intercessor we beseech Thee, O Lord: save us all, O Good Evangelist: for Thou art the refuge of peace, and the protection of our race.
Renew the world in thy travail, O Virgin Mother, veritable Saviour, and ever-vigilant intercessor of the pious, do not cease to pray nigh unto Thee all them that sing Thee.
Glory, and now: self-like:
Cloud of the Lord's glory ever-present in heaven, let us call thee: from thee indeed didst Thou send down upon the earth the word of life, and from thee enlightening, didst Thou fill the world with the delusion of Jesus Christ our God. Through these we beseech Thee, drawing nigh, do not cease to be our Helper, O Lord, for those who truly confess Thee.
