Свѣтопрїе́мнꙋю свѣщꙋ̀, сꙋ́щымъ во тьмѣ̀ ꙗ҆́вльшꙋюсѧ, зри́мъ ст҃ꙋ́ю дв҃ꙋ: невеще́ственный бо вжига́ющи ѻ҆́гнь, наставлѧ́етъ къ ра́зꙋмꙋ бжⷭ҇твенномꙋ всѧ̑, заре́ю ѹ҆́мъ просвѣща́ющаѧ, зва́нїемъ же почита́емаѧ, си́ми:
With the light of the candle, which in darkness shineth more, we see two lights: for not by an uncreated fire burning, it instructeth all to the understanding divine, shining upon us with its enlightening ray, and is called by this name:
Ра́дꙋйсѧ, лꙋчѐ ᲂу҆́мнагѡ сл҃нца:
Rejoice, O light of the eyes of the sun:
Ра́дꙋйсѧ, свѣти́ло незаходи́магѡ свѣ́та.
Rejoice, O Light of the unsetting Sun.
Ра́дꙋйсѧ, мо́лнїе, дꙋ́шы просвѣща́ющаѧ:
Rejoice, O soul enlightening, thou that shinest forth:
Ра́дꙋйсѧ, ꙗ҆́кѡ гро́мъ врагѝ ѹ҆страша́ющаѧ.
Rejoice, for the thunder of thy terrifying adversary.
Ра́дꙋйсѧ, ꙗ҆́кѡ многосвётлое возсїѧва́еши просвѣще́нїе:
Rejoice, because thou hast greatly enlightened the enlightenment:
Ра́дꙋйсѧ, ꙗ҆́кѡ многотекꙋ́щꙋю и҆сточа́еши рѣкꙋ̀.
Rejoice, because thou dost abundantly water the flowing fountain.
Ра́дꙋйсѧ, кꙋпѣ́ли живописꙋ́ющаѧ ѡ҆́бразъ:
Rejoice, cupellers painting the image:
Ра́дꙋйсѧ, грѣхо́внꙋю ѿе́млющаѧ скве́рнꙋ.
Rejoice, O Sinner-Weeping Purifier.
Ра́дꙋйсѧ, ба́не, ѡ҆мыва́ющаѧ со́вѣсть:
Rejoice, O Theotokos, washing conscience:
Ра́дꙋйсѧ, ча́ше, че́рплющаѧ ра́дость.
Rejoice, cup, that drawest forth joy.
Ра́дꙋйсѧ, ѡ҆бонѧ́нїе хрⷭ҇то́ва бл҃гоꙋха́нїѧ:
Rejoice, O sanctification of the blessed Incarnation:
Ра́дꙋйсѧ, животѐ та́йнагѡ весе́лїѧ.
Rejoice, O Life of the Hidden Treasure.
Ра́дꙋйсѧ, невёсто неневѣ́стнаѧ.
Rejoice, thou that art not a bride yet a Bride.
