By the Life-giving Hand,
Having died from dark deceptions,
Life-bearer, Thou didst raise all Jesus Christ,
Raising to life the human race:
For He is the Saviour of all,
Raising to life and giving life, and being the Life of all.

O Lord, have mercy, Thee.

Whosoever at every hour, and in every moment, on high and on earth, is worshipped and glorified, O Lord, long-suffering, full of mercy, and rich in forgiveness: who judgest righteously them that love Thee and mercifully them that sin against Thee; who callest all to salvation, promising the good things to come. Thou, O Lord, receive our prayer at this present hour, and make our life according to Thy commandments. Holy and pure be our souls, cleanse our bodies, rectify our thoughts, purify our minds, and deliver us from every kind of sorrow and sickness; protect us by Thy holy angels, that through their intercession and teaching we may attain the unity of faith, and the incomprehensible glory of Thy knowledge: Blessed art Thou for ever and ever. Amen.

O Lord, have mercy. [Three times.]

Glory to Thee, O God, and to Thy Christ, and to the Holy Spirit, both now and ever and unto the ages of ages. Amen.

Most glorious Cherubim, and most renowned Seraphim, we magnify thy unflappable words of God's glory, O Theotokos, that gave birth thereto, being ever present in thee.

By the prayers of our holy Fathers, Jesus Christ, O Lord, and Theotokos, have mercy on us, amen.
