Живонача́льною дла́нїю, / ѹ҆ме́ршыѧ ѿ мра́чныхъ ѹ҆до́лїй, / жизнода́вецъ воскр҃си́въ всѣ́хъ хрⷭ҇то́съ бг҃ъ, / воскрⷭ҇нїе подадѐ человѣ́ческомꙋ ро́дꙋ: / є҆́сть бо всѣ́хъ сп҃си́тель, / воскрⷭ҇нїе и҆ живо́тъ, и҆ бг҃ъ всѣ́хъ.
By the Life-giving Hand,
Having passed through the dark abysses,
Life-bearer, Thou didst raise up all Jesus Christ,
Raising up man’s race: for He is the Saviour of all,
Raising life and Christ, both of all.
Јкосъ: Крⷭ҇тъ и҆ погребе́нїе твоѐ жизнода́вче, воспѣва́емъ вѣ́рнїи, и҆ покланѧ́емсѧ, / ꙗ҆́кѡ а҆́дъ свѧза́лъ є҆сѝ безсме́ртне, ꙗ҆́кѡ бг҃ъ всеси́льный: / и҆ мє́ртвыѧ совоскр҃си́лъ є҆сѝ, и҆ врата̀ смє́ртнаѧ сокрꙋши́лъ є҆сѝ, / и҆ держа́вꙋ а҆́довꙋ низложи́лъ є҆сѝ, ꙗ҆́кѡ бг҃ъ. / тѣ́мже земноро́днїи славосло́вимъ тѧ̀ любо́вїю, воскр҃сшаго, / и҆ низложи́вшаго вра́жїю держа́вꙋ всепа́гꙋбнꙋю, / и҆ всѣ́хъ воскр҃си́вшаго въ тѧ̀ вѣ́ровавшихъ, / и҆ мі́ръ и҆зба́вльшаго ѿ стрѣ́лъ ѕмїи́ныхъ, / и҆ ѿ пре́лести вра́жїѧ, ꙗ҆́кѡ бг҃ъ всѣ́хъ.
Jesu: We glorify and sing the burial of Thy life-giving body, O Faithful One, and we bow down,
for Thou didst bind the deathless with a bond, O All-powerful God:
and Thou didst raise the dead to life, and Thou didst crush the gates of death,
and Thou didst cast down the power of hell, O All-powerful God.
Therefore, earth-born, we glorify Thee in love, Raising the Dead and casting down the hostile power
of all-pervading Enmity, and Thou didst raise all those who believe in Thee to life,
and Thou didst save us from the arrows of our enemies,
and from the deceit of enmity, O All-powerful God.
