Two valiant sons of Ionadav and the first captives, not inscribed on the Hebrew scroll, nor is it.

Alas to Thee, Lord, that we may not blush for shame in the age eternal.

Deliver me by thy righteousness, and rescue me: incline thine ear to me, and save me.

Be thou my stronghold, whereinto I may constantly flee: for thou art my rock and my refuge.

Deliver me, O my God, from the hand of the sinner, from the hand of the lawless and oppressive.

For thou art my hope, O Lord: thou art my trust from my youth.

By thee have I been upheld from the womb; thou art my protector from my mother’s loins: my hymn shall ever be to thee.

I have become a marvel to many, and thou, O my mighty helper.

Let my mouth be filled with thy praise, that I may hymn thy glory all the days of my life.

Cast me not off in the time of my old age; forsake me not when my strength faileth.

‹. For my enemies have spoken against me, and those who watch over my life have conspired together.

Saying, God hath forsaken him: pursue and seize him; for there is none to deliver him.

O God, do not hide thyself from me; O my God, hasten to my aid.

Let them be ashamed and put to shame who assail my soul; let them be enveloped in confusion and disgrace who seek my harm.

But I will hope unceasingly and add to all thy praises.

My mouth shall declare thy righteousness and thy salvation throughout the whole day, for I have known none of them.

I will enter into the power of the Lord, O Lord; I will remember your justice alone.

O God, thou hast taught me from my youth, and even to this day I proclaim thy marvelous deeds.

And even to old age and grey hairs, O Lord, do not abandon me, until I declare the might of thy arm unto this generation, and thy power to all that shall come after.

ѳ҃і. Си́лꙋ твою̀ и҆ пра́вдꙋ твою̀, бж҃е, да́же до вы́шнихъ, ꙗ҆̀же сотвори́лъ мѝ є҆сѝ вели̑чїѧ: бж҃е, кто̀ подо́бенъ тебѣ̀;
Thy righteousness also, O God, is lofty, who has wrought great things: O God, who is like unto thee!

Thou hast shown me many sore trials and tribulations, and having turned, thou hast quickened me, and brought me up from the depths of the earth.

Thou hast increased thy greatness and turned again to entreat me, bringing me up from the depths of the earth.

I will also praise thee with a psalm, O Lord, declaring thy truth; with a harp I will sing to thee, O Holy One of Israel.

My lips shall be lifted up with joy when I sing to thee, and my soul, which thou hast redeemed.

My tongue shall meditate on your righteousness all the days, when they are ashamed and confounded who seek my harm.

O Soul, wear the garment of humility, gird thyself with the belt of chastity, and enter in.

Grant unto Solomon, O God, thy judgment for the king, and his son’s righteousness.

Judge thy people in righteousness, and the poor in thy judgment.

He shall bear the mountains of peace to his people, and the hills in justice.

He judgeth the poor of the people, and savaus the sons of the needy, and humbleth the slanderer.

He shall abide with the sun and be before the moon for ever.

And it shall come to pass as rain upon the mown grass, and as showers that water the earth.

His justice shall rise in his days, and abundance of peace until the moon be no more.

And he shall rule from sea to sea, and from the river to the ends of the earth.

Before Him fall the Ethiopians, and his enemies shall lick the dust.

‹. Yea, kings of Tharsis and the isles shall present gifts: and the kings of Arabia and Saba shall offer presents.

And all kings shall bow down to him, all nations shall serve him.

He hath delivered the poor from the hand of the mighty, and the needy from him that was strong and mighty.

He shall redeem the souls of the poor and the needy, and preserve them.

And by the toil and from injustice shall they be redeemed, and their name shall be honorable before Him.

And he shall live, and it shall be given to him from the gold of Arabia; and they shall pray for him always throughout the day, blessing him continually.

His name shall endure on earth, upon the tops of the mountains it shall be exalted higher than Lebanon; its fruit shall flourish like the grass of the field.

May His name be blessed for ever and ever; before the sun his name shall endure, and all the tribes of the earth shall bless themselves in him; all the nations shall glory in him.

Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, who worketh wonders alone.

And blessed be the name of His glory for ever and ever, and let all the earth be filled with His glory, let it be fulfilled.
Glory:
