Orthodox House (orthodoxhouse.com) - last updated July 8, 2026

Orthodox House is a non-commercial platform serving the Orthodox Christian community. We collect only what the service needs to work, we show no advertising, and we never sell or share your personal data for marketing.

What we collect

Account data: your e-mail address, display name and chosen language when you register (directly, or via Sign in with Apple / Google - in that case we receive the name and e-mail those services share). Content you create: posts, comments, messages, prayer lists and commemoration notes you submit. Technical data: standard server logs (IP address, browser type) kept briefly for security, and - in the mobile app - a push-notification token if you allow notifications.

How we use it

Solely to operate the service: showing your profile and content to the audience you choose, delivering your commemoration notes to your parish, sending service notifications (for example, that your note was read at a service), and keeping the platform safe. No advertising, no profiling, no sale of data.

Third parties

Sign in with Apple and Google Sign-In (authentication only), Apple Push Notification service (delivery of notifications), and embedded video players (YouTube and similar) when you open live broadcasts. Each processes data under its own privacy policy.

Your choices and rights

You can edit your profile visibility and privacy options at orthodoxhouse.com/social/settings, deactivate your account there at any time, and request full deletion of your account and data by writing to us. You may also use the service without an account - news, calendar, prayer book and broadcasts are open to all.

Children

The service is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
